Green Island Coral

Simply make you own way to the Reef Fleet Terminal (or pay the little extra to be collected from The Northern Greenhouse). The ferry transfer is very fast - this is great if you are one of the unlucky people who get sea sick and want to spend most of day with your feet on the ground.

On the island there is a museum, food and souvenirs shops. You are welcome to use the resort facilities including the bar, swimming pool and toilets. Depending on the package you can snorkel, do a glass bottom boat, semi submarine and/or enjoy a smorgasbord lunch. We did the semi submersible option with Big Cat Tours and spotted turtles, many varieties of coral and fish including Remoras fish that have sucker pads on their heads and attached themselves to the glass.

You can go for a whole day departing 9am or 11am and return at 5pm; or you could do a half day leaving at 9am coming back at 1pm or leave at 1pm and come back at 5pm. Nice boardwalks with signs explaining the plants and animals and pretty beaches. Take your own beach equipment or hire it from the beach stall.
