We took a Trike ride and it really was a lot of fun and I was amazed with how much we saw from having a 360 degree view of the landscapes we were travelling through. We saw a great variety of what Cairns has to offer from cane fields being harvested to tropical beaches - the cool Barron Gorge to vast city views (see below). I am quite sure that this would be an attractive thing for anybody to experience.

Mike is a very safe driver always sticking to the speed limits (between 50 -100kms per hour on the roads around Cairns) but you feel like you go much faster as you are out in the open with the wind whipping around you - very refreshing. The bike comes with seat belts and full motorcycle helmets and one or two people can sit behind the driver. A very relaxing sight seeing experience with a coffee break!

Mike and Anne also run Mini Car Rentals in town who provide an extremely friendly service, they pick you up from The Northern Greenhouse when you hire a car, provide local information and maps and their price around town for a small new rental car is hard to beat.
