| Working Holidays in Australia are very popular. Here
are a few tips on how to get a working holiday VISA and getting a job
once you are here.
TIP* instead of carrying a disc with you on your travels, send your resume to your own e-mail account and print it our once you are here.* Each of our hostels has a JOBS BOARD where we display jobs that may be relevant to you. We can also help you look for jobs in your specific industry. NOTE If you are a nurse we have arrangements with several agencies. You will need a registration certificate. If you come from a non English speaking country you must either have an English qualification or do a short English course to show you have the requisite skills. Each hostel has a JOBS GUIDE that is available to guests. It lists numerous agencies in all industries, the best places to look for jobs and general advice about working in Australia. We also have a number of local businesses, pubs, cafes and work sites that offer work to our guests in hospitality and labour industries. Finding a job as a working holiday maker is no different from any where else. Most businesses are open to employing visitors. Try using our Seek job search function on the right to get an idea of what jobs are available. |
